Well, I'm still here at the Hospital, but Hayden has been home for a few days and it has been a joy to have my sister to help with the situation. Hayden is a registered nurse and really can speak the lingo. UPDATE: Toni is still on the ventilator. She partially breathes on her own and the machine does part of the work. She has trouble taking deep breaths which she desperately needs to do. On the 'miraculous' front the pneumonia is gone- GONE. So encouraging. They are hoping to take her off the ventillator tomorrow. Please be praying.
Thanks to everyone for the calls and text messages, etc...we've disconnected the room phone- whenever it rings it sends a loud piercing sound through the whole room- we just figured that wasn't, how can we say 'helpful'. Hayden and I are keeping each other's spirits up by competing for the 'child of the year' award. Each time the other takes a break we whisper in mom's ear that the other one has abandoned her and is at home putting colored stickers on her possessions. Toni would appreciate the humor. Seriously though, we cherish your prayers and we KNOW that you are praying and thinking about us even if we can't talk to you directly. God seems to have this passion about leaving us with Himself. Thanks for the text message updates Jean. I have been praying for all of you, especially Miss Toni. She is loved so much. Everytime I would come to town after I moved away - one of the few people I would visit was your mom. I always stopped by to see her and she always had a big hug for me! She is a wonderful woman! Cant wait to see her up and about at Walmart again! Love all you Larroux's so much! Take care of yourself too, dont let yourself get sick while taking care of mom! talk to you soon... ~ tina
The journey might not be pleasant but there will be pleasant moments within it to keep you going. I'm glad that you are keeping your eyes, ears & heart open to catch those times. Our family will keep praying for your Mom and all of you.
Be strong!

We will definitely be praying for Toni and especially for you and Hayden. We know first hand how hard it is to watch a parent in the hospital. Be stong and continue to rest in the Lord above. He indeed is the Great Physician!
We love and miss y'all!!
